Spncuf-DX(Dextromethorphan + CPM+ Phenylephrine Syrup) is a synergetic composition of Phenylephrine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide which relieves Cough, Nasal congestion, Common cold, and Allergy. It will not treat emphysema, asthma, or cough that is caused by smoking.
Phenylephrine
Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows the small blood vessels, reduces the swelling in the blood vessels as well as tissues in the nose, and provides relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
CPM
Here CPM stands for Chlorpheniramine Maleate which belongs to the class of antihistamines that relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, motion sickness, and sneezing.
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that provides relaxation from cough by working on lowering the activity of the cough center in the brain.
Use of Dextromethorphan + CPM+ Phenylephrine Syrup
- Take this cough syrup if your doctor prescribes it. Cold or cough syrups are used until your symptoms clear up.

Do not use Dextromethorphan + CPM+ Phenylephrine Syrup if you have used a Monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MOA) in the past 14 days. A treacherous drug interaction can emerge. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine, and others.
